What is meant by Infant Mental Health, and how does it affect my work?  We will explore the tenants of infant mental health, including attachment, the impacts of family and culture, risks and resiliency, and Infant Mental Health (IMH) as a field of practice.  We will examine tools and resources to support families.

 At the end of this session the participant will be able to:
  • Identify the ways that relationships between infants, parents, and providers are the core of healthy social-emotional development.
  • Identify strategies to promote resilience for families.
